Big If True is accepting pitches for a monthly in-depth reporting series that will examine how low-income Americans have been impacted by the pandemic.
We’re looking for stories that dig deep by using thorough sourcing, data and public records to shed new light on this important topic.
These stories will be between 1,000 and 2,000 words, and we’ll pay based on length.
For examples of our previous work in this area, check out our two-part series on civil legal aid and this story about illegal debt collection tactics.
Send your pitch and questions to editor Mollie Bryant at bryant@bigiftrue.org.
